IT ALL STARTED WITH AN IDEA, PLANNING, HARD WORK AND RELEASING.
At the release of Song & Dance 2021 “King of the animal kingdom”, our seniors ‘homes were the perfect setting to assemble and create a show that will be full of imagination, creativity and originality.The gallery of images corresponds to rehearsals that were carried out in compliance with the school’s biosecurity measures.
This musical show has been with us for more than 60 years. It came to our school by the hand of the Nuns of the Sacred Heart of Mary, it stopped for a few decades and in the 90s it came back with all its strength, always keeping in mind the components of creativity, music, joy and the second language.
It is one of the best memories of any Marymount graduate and of course it involves some important elements from the point of view of training: how to learn from commitment, teamwork, decision-making, achieving a goal together. This is one of the ways through which “LEARNING BY DOING” manifests itself and one of the great richness of our school.
